Bio for Celtic Music: Don Gabbert has been called "The voice of the West Texas Celts". And as a first generation Irish-American has been instrumentalin exposing many Texans to their own Celtic roots. As a founding performer with the Midland Scottish-Irish Faire Don has returned year after year to delight and inform his audience with songs and stories of growing up Irish in Texas. Wit the songs learned at his Grandmother's fire side and the latest in Irish and Scottish music each performance is a celebration of culture and humor that takes his guests on a wonderful ride, As a solo performer or with "The Don Gabbert Celtic Combo" Don presents an wonderful show that truly connects with his audience. Don is a returning performer at both The North Texas Irish Festival, in Dallas, Texas and The Gathering of the Clans in Salado, Texas every year. Don was among the select group of entertainers that were invited to perform at the inaugural Cowtown Celtic Festival in Fort Worth, Texas. Don was also one of the founding performers at the Midland Scottish-Irish Faire and has returned every year to entertain the West Texas Celtic community.
